Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of Bandera County Criminal History. Viewing its content or submitting a search means the visitor accepts every term stated here. Anyone who does not agree must discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This is a privately operated resource, independent of Bandera County, Texas, and federal agencies. It and its advertising partners do not offer a service for employment, credit, tenant-screening, insurance, or another Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) decision. The website identifies public-record channels and is neither a consumer reporting agency nor a private investigation service.

1. What This Website Is

Bandera County Criminal History is a private reference resource with no governmental affiliation. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve documents, conduct official checks, or submit filings for a visitor.

Its content identifies custodians such as the Bandera County sheriff and court clerks, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Some links may lead to independent research services.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the website is conditioned on an agreement not to:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No information reached here or through an outside tool may be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. The Texas Public Sex Offender Registry exists to support public-safety awareness. It does not authorize vigilantism, and harmful misuse of registry information may violate Texas law.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This website is not a consumer reporting agency as the FCRA defines that term. Neither it nor its advertising partners generates a consumer report, credit report, or screening product. Information found here or through a linked tool must not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any legally permitted FCRA-regulated check must be obtained from an authorized, compliant provider rather than through this resource.

5. No Legal Advice

Content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Bandera County charge, judgment, warrant, expunction, or nondisclosure law applies to individual facts. Legal guidance should come from a licensed Texas attorney.

6. No Warranties

All content and functions are supplied "as is," without a promise that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

New filings, dismissals, restrictions, corrections, and expunction orders can change criminal records. Delays and gaps may occur, and nothing published here is an official statement from a Bandera County court, sheriff, clerk, or Texas agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may open websites operated by sheriff offices, courts, Texas agencies, legal-aid groups, or independent search companies. Those destinations control their own content, data handling, charges, and availability. Their terms should be reviewed before use, and this resource accepts no responsibility for their operation.

8. Intellectual Property

Bandera County Criminal History or its content partners own the applicable text, graphics, logos, and code. Prior written permission is required to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, no liability is accepted for damages arising from use of the website or reliance on information obtained here or through an external service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold the site harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by that user's conduct or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Texas law. A dispute arising from website use must be brought in a court located in Texas. Relevant state frameworks include the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Business and Commerce Code Chapter 17; the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, for covered government records; and Government Code Chapter 411 for criminal-history dissemination.

12. Changes to These Terms

These conditions may be revised. A replacement version takes effect when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected term will be modified only to the extent needed for enforceability.
